Hey there!

I’m Naomi and I’m a Samoan/Australian Christian missionary serving with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in New Zealand!

 

Having grown up in a missionary family, I was familiar with missions but I vividly remember telling God at a young age never to call me to be a missionary! 

 

It wasn't until I came to know Jesus personally years later that God started speaking hope and purpose into my life, and I realised I did in fact have a desire to share Jesus in the nations and that God was calling me to the mission field one day!

Why New Zealand?
I've had a love for New Zealand since I was young! What started as a passion for the nation and the Indigenous culture of NZ, became a God-instilled dream to see Jesus encounter Maori/New Zealand communities and from there the nations!

Over the years I've completed several training schools with YWAM (Discipleship School, Bible School, Leadership School) and served for 2 years with a ministry called Island Breeze which uses cultural expressions of the Pacific to share Jesus!

My heart is to see people burning for Jesus, people trained up in missions, to see communities of New Zealand transformed by Jesus and from there transformed nations!

 

God is moving among His people and calling hearts back to Him, and I am so excited to be apart of His story for New Zealand and the world!
